Based in Zeeland, Michigan, Novo Building Products operates Ornamental Decorative Millwork, L.J. Smith Stair Systems, and Novo Direct.Just as our products are used to build something new and inspire others to make living spaces more beautiful, we endeavor to positively impact the people and communities we touch every day.Position SummaryThis role is Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pm - starts at $16 per hour, benefits at 60 days - 9 paid holidays per year!The person in this position will be responsible for ensuring the product is restocked throughout the warehouse. Essential Responsibilities Restock by moving products into bins while checking the quality of the stock and tallying the bundle for system accuracy. Check the product for bad/defective pieces and identifies appropriately; note the number of bad pieces on the tally for updating the system. Operate motorized equipment (i.e., tuggers,) as needed for the efficient and safe movement of stock and materials. Remains aware of possible hazards and maintains a safe work environment. Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc. Other duties may also be assigned. Basic Qualifications (Required) Must be able to perform all essential functions, including physical requirements Must be able to physically handle awkward product lengths and lift to 50 lbs without assistance. Basic math skills, interpersonal/team skills, and reasoning skills are also required Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
